The Pancakes here are better than I’ve had anywhere in America, you can get them with mac nuts and you have your choice of maple or coconut syrup. You also can get the loco moco, a local favorite that you must try at least once.

The Loco Moco is a Hawaiian entree that is really simple and eaten for any meal. The dish is a large helping of rice, with at least a half pound of Hamburger with two eggs on top. The entire portion is then covered with a delicious brown gravy. This is a must of anyone visiting Hawaii for the first time.

Coconut ice cream with a macadamia nut, graham cracker crust. The entire dish is topped with a raspberry/mango sauce with hot fudge with whipping cream.

Big Island Grill makes an amazing kalua pork quesadilla.
